Successful Refloating for MEDTUGS!
Vessel M/V “ATLANTA” loaded with some 10,000MT of NP Fertilizer in bulk, grounded in the northwest sea area of Rhodes island on 29th of April 2023. Fore peak tank, bow thruster and freshwater tank were breach and flooded.
After L.O.F. signed, site securing, holding, and re-floating services were offered to M/V ‘’Atlanta’’ by our consortium tugs ‘’Vernicos Sifnos’’, “Lyboussakis Minoas’’ and ‘’Vernicos Scafi II’’.
Casualty safely re-floated despite limited tugs movement and operability due to surrounding rocky coastline.
